I was on the lookout for a good car detailing shop and saw the post of sis mama_yen, recommending this certain shop so I decided to check out the site – it seemed good enough for me and it was just 30 minutes drive from my place.  So I tried Waxdaddy along Quezon Avenue, availed their full detailing package and they even gave me a free wet look spray and a complimentary microfiber towel to boot.  Actually, I asked how much if I will get full detailing package and add the “deep wet look finish”, he said libre na “wet look spray”.. woohoo, siempre happy ako! It was super sulit – the price was low but the quality of their service was very impressive. Sobrang pulido. Luis, the owner, was very accommodating and he personally supervised everything.  He even had a quality control detailer who did the final inspection to check if detailing passed their quality standard.  The car that we brought in his shop was an old Mitsubishi 1994 model and I was informed the there could be cracks in electrical cables and would be dangerous to steam-spray the engine. So his staff had to manually and meticulously clean the engine coz it’s different pala cleaning engines of old cars, the engine detailing alone reached 4 hours. After seeing the result, grabe I was honestly wowed talaga, promise!  Sabi nga ng Dad ko pati engine mabango.. LOL ..and my Dad is the type who’s not that easily impressed.  The thing is, Luis (the owner) is a car enthusiast, knows about cars and is really into cars (both old & new).  During our chat, he mentioned to me that he belongs to a car club. Kaya dun palang, I felt comfortable already that our car would be in good hands, kahit lola na un car LOL. He even gave us some car-care tips, very insightful since I’m not so literate about cars.  But, my gawd, I love the deep wet look finish effect on our car coz it looked like it was newly painted and shiny and has a waxy feel. Luis said it’s good for 3 months and we really don’t need to have it carwashed sa tabi tabi anymore baka kasi lalong magasgasan, just clean it with water na lang since the dirt & grime won’t stick to the body of the car that much because the “wet look spray” he used was specially formulated (well, this I’ve to wait and see, tamang tama I’ll be going to Alabang to visit my sis).  Pero super tuwa naman ako coz that would mean less carwash (and wax) expenses weekly.  Luis pala formulated this special wax product, which he uses for the wet look spray and honestly, it’s super galing talaga, ganda ng effect sa car. Anyway, our old car looked new after the full detailing.  Just wanted to share lang one of my new findings since thankful din ako sa girltalk sa post ni sis mama_yen.

Your car sticker clearly articulates that. Bine90 reminded me about insisting all wax jobs be done by hand. I'll never have a mechanized polisher ever touch my car's paint job again.
